He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Dean and Jeanne Gloria Retseck (Clarke); his wife Kathleen Retseck (Kuzydym); his daughter Hilary Retseck (Dave Joecks) of Denver, Colorado; his siblings, Mary Anne Retseck of South Bend, Barbara Gawronski (Ted) of Michigan City, Thomas Retseck (Mary Jo) of St. John, IN, Jane Siebert of Michigan City, Elizabeth Lernihan (Brian) of Naperville, IL and Catherine Buell (Wayne) of Michigan City; his siblings-in-law, Connie Kuzydym of Long Beach and Richard Kuzydym of Olathe, Kansas; his siblings, Richard Retseck, Nancy Steele and John D. Retseck Jr.; his parents-in-law, Walter and Irene Kuzydym; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Kuzydym and Allan Kuzydym. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
