He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Lowe and Effey Lowe; his wife Mary Reno; his siblings, Robert, Junior, Claude, Bill, Fate, Clarence, Carrie and Ruby; and his son-in-law Jimmy Burchell.
He is survived by: his children, Frances Moore (Jesse) of La Porte, IN, Sue Thomason (Charles) of Lafayette, TN, Shirley Burchell of Lafayette, IN, Eddie Lowe (Darlene) and Denny Ray Lowe (Lola) of North Judson, IN. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Fellowship Church of God in James' name.
