He was predeceased by: his parents, James Long and Sybil Long (Kelley); and his siblings, Joyce Norman, David, Ricky and Larry Long.
He is survived by: his children, Temple Gerhart of Kingsford Heights, Tiffany Hoen of La Porte, Matthew Long of Indianapolis and Samuel Long of Muncie. He is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
