He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Gazdick and Mary Gazdick (Tokar); and his godson Zachary James McCoy. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Cernel; his children, Stephen Gazdick (Chris) of La Porte, James Gazdick, Jr. (Karen) of La Porte and Susan McCoy (Patrick) of La Porte; his grandchildren, Lauren Willis, Michael Gazdick, Nicholas, Joseph Gazdick, Alex and Joshua McCoy; his great grandchildren, Madelyn and Morgan Willis; and his sister Marian Fleming of La Porte. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
