She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Martensen and Edith Martensen (DeWitt); her husband Harold Bennitt; and her siblings, Lois Markley, Carl Martensen and Norman Martensen.
She is survived by: her children, Judy A. Harenza of La Porte, Thelma J. Eigenmann (Martin) of St. Charles, Missouri and Harold A. Bennitt, Jr. of Palm Bay, Florida; and her siblings, Doris Bennitt of Sebring, Florida and Herbert Martensen of Conroe, Texas.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
