He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Skoczek and Antonia Skoczek (Stelmaszyk); his wife Julianne N. Skoszek (Nadoski); his son Herbert; his grandson Steve; and his siblings, Ursula Gembala and Gunther Skoczek.

He is survived by: his children, Marianne Skoczek of La Porte and Harry Skoczek Jr. (Dawn) of La Porte; his grandchildren, Samantha, Alex and Amanda; and his great grandchild Paige. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

“I remember the day when i accepted the position to be harry's secretary back in 1985. He was a great boss and has kept in touch since retiring, always asking about my health and family. He will be seeing my dad, deacon dan bowmar and hope he gives him a big hug for us! He will be missed. May god comfort your family in this difficult time. Love, liz & randy durham”
