She is survived by: her children, Brooks Thorgren (Kelly) of La Porte, Lindsay McGary (Ryan) of Chesterton and Kristin Thorgren-Owens (Mark) of St. Louis, MO; her grandchildren, Cole, Cade, Anakin and Rex; her mother Helen Downey; her siblings, Kimberly Napier (Joe) of La Porte and Doug Downey (Jennifer) of South Bend; and her sister-in-law Kendra Casselman (Al) of Florida. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
