It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Samuelson of La Porte, Indiana, who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Samuelson and Betty Laverne Samuelson (Wheaton); his wife Barbara Ann Samuelson (Ciecka); and his siblings, Betty Hartsough and Russell Samuelson Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Samuelson (Rebecca) of La Porte and Douglas Samuelson (Victoria) of Rolling Prairie; his grandchildren, Joshua Samuelson (Nicole), Jenifer Samuelson (James Weir), Jonathon Samuelson (Quinn), Andrew Samuelson, Emily Samuelson and Tommy Samuelson; his great grandchildren, Russell, Mitchell, Lydia Samuelson and Adrianna Weir; his sister Gloria Whitacre (Jack) of Pennsylvania; and his close friend Edna Kuk.
Those attending are asked to wear a face mask and social distance.
