She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester James and Pearl James (Holcomb); her husband Harold LeRoy Birchfield; her son Bruce H Birchfield; her grandchildren, Joshua Birchfield and Rachael Birchfield; and her great grandchild Oaklynn.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Birchfield (Susan) of La Porte and Tammy Sass (Dale) of La Porte. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
