He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton O. Tibbs and Cecile Katheryn Tibbs (McGarity); his wife Shirley; his siblings, Vernon, Ward, Bud, Eileen, Dorothy, Lucille, Mary, Shirley, Roseann and Bette; and his great grandchild Corbin Dove.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Tibbs (Karla) of Mill Creek, IN and Deborah Mann of La Porte; his siblings, Edward Tibbs of La Porte and Barbara Howard of Greenwood, IN; his grandchildren, Dustin Mann (Alysha), Charles Tibbs, Holly Tibbs, Heather Tibbs and Amber Dove-Duttlinger (Bill); and his great great grandchild Ron Bauer. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
