It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Jarrett of La Porte, Indiana, born in Richmond, Kentucky, who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul M. Lane Sr. and Mida Lane (Shaw); her husband Charles Jarrett; her son Billy W. Martin; and her siblings, Harold, Marion, William and Barbara.
She is survived by: her children, David A. Martin of La Porte, IN and Carol F. Lopez (Tony) of Laporte, IN; and her siblings, Paul M. Lane, Jr. of Richmond, KY, Donald L. Lane of Richmond, KY, Lewis Lane of Richmond, KY and Willie May Hall of Lexington, KY. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 5 great-great, grandchildren.
