She was predeceased by: her parents, Arch Weddle and Wilmoth Weddle (Morris); her husband Clifford Cody; her siblings, Mollie, Eula, Hazel, Edward "Ed", Ralph "Tom", Frank, Thelma and Maxine; her daughters, Linda Rex and Donna Cody; and her grandson Bobby Salzwedel.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Tina Welches of Trail Creek; her great grandchildren, Aubrey of Trail Creek, Cody of Trail Creek and Felicity of Trail Creek; and her child LaPorte.
Memorial donations may be made to the Christian Appalachian Project In Kentucky or the Social and Learning Institute in Michigan City.
