She was predeceased by: her parents, Fritz Hekter and Frida Hekter (Lichlblaw); her husband James William Kruger; and her siblings, Doris Baily, Hildegard Bradfield and Herbert Hekter.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Maryellen Naragon (Scott) of South Bend and Rebecca Turk (David) of South Bend; her great grandchildren, Catelyn Jaye Naragon, Conner Allen Naragon and Bobby Steven Turk; and her brothers, Walter Hekter (Dorothy) of Sturgis, MI, Gerhard Hekter (Kathy) of Michigan City and Fritz Hekter.
