We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2020, at the age of 66, Elanda Ramsey in La Porte, Indiana, born in Springfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Ford and Rosie Lee Ramsey (King); his brothers, Willie Ramsey and O'Dell Ramsey; and his stepson Roley Johnson, III.

He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Starkey; his sons, Aaron Roper and Elanda Drake; his stepchildren, Deidria, Patrick, Warwik Roper, Cory and Christopher Johnson; his siblings, Ruffus, Henry, Carlos, Jerome, Floyd Ramsey, Willie McClarty, Clyde Ramsey, Jr. and Nancy Ramsey; and his siblings-in-law, Rozlyn Starkey, Dennis Bridges, Martin Starkey and Adam Leisure. He is also survived by grandkids; many nieces and nephews.
