She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Tait and Grace Tait (Rogers); and her son James Satkoski. She is survived by: her husband Robert Satkoski; her daughters, Mary Spickard (Shawn) of Hamlet and Elizabeth Satkoski of Grand Rapids, Michigan; her daughter-in-law Erika Satkoski of Arroyo Grande, California; her grandchildren, Anneliese, Alissa (Josh), Grace, Ron, Jon and Jake; and her great grandchildren, Akira, Aya, Briana, Colton, April and Ariana.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home (1117 Indiana Ave, La Porte, IN 46350). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel (1117 Indiana Ave, La Porte, IN 46350). A vigil service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 6:45 PM at the Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home (1117 Indiana Ave, La Porte, IN 46350). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Church (1101 Michigan Ave, La Porte, IN 46350).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shirley Heinze Land Trust for the preservation of the natural areas of Northwest Indiana.
