She is survived by: her husband Robert Satkoski; her daughters, Mary Spickard (Shawn) of Hamlet and Elizabeth Satkoski of Grand Rapids, Michigan; her daughter-in-law Erika Satkoski of Arroyo Grande, California; her grandchildren, Anneliese, Alissa (Josh), Grace, Ron, Jon and Jake; and her great grandchildren, Akira, Aya, Briana, Colton, April and Ariana.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shirley Heinze Land Trust for the preservation of the natural areas of Northwest Indiana.
