She was predeceased by: her parents, Nikolaou Balagouras and Aspasia Balagouras (Pergantas); her sisters, Sophia Nikolaou and Eleni Tsitsopoulou; and her siblings-in-law, Louie (Thespina Vasilarakos) and Maria (Mattheos Demakas).
She is survived by: her spouse GimVasilarakos; her children, Myra Vasilarakos of Chicago, IL and Tom Vasilarakos of Chicago, IL; her brother John Balagouras of Greece; her sister-in-law Irene Sfoundouris of Greece; and her godson Nick Pergantinas of Lakemoor, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
