The memory of Daniel Eugene Keene of La Porte, Indiana, who passed away on December 15, 2024 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Keene and Frances Keene (Tomaszewski); his wife Kathie Keene (Menzie); and his siblings, Carl Keene, Richard Keene, Jacqueline Bilka and JoAnne Steele.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Janie Hagenow (Christopher) of Noblesville, IN and David Harrell (Darcie) of Ashville, NC; his grandchildren, Zachary Ulmer (Maria), Kate Ulmer, Maya Harrell and Maxwell Harrell; and his great grandchildren, Elliott and Everett Ulmer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services (602 Maple Ave, La Porte, IN 46350). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Pine Lake Cemetery (1367 Pne Lk Ave, La Porte, IN 46350).
