He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward DeKnight and Marian Cabaniss (Roether); his wife Diane Gesek; his children, Becky Alvarez (Juan) of Huntley, IL and Daniel DeKnight (Kim) of Logansport; his grandchildren, Jasmine, Miles, Weston, Landen and Jase; his sister Donna Terzic (Zoran) of Streamwood, IL; his half-sister Tiffany Geisler (Jon) of Cincinnati, OH; and his brothers, Edward DeKnight, Jr. (Sharon) of Lombard and Gary DeKnight (Debbie) of Streamwood, IL.
