He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Turner and Mima Turner (Stamper); and his siblings, Roscoe, Paul, Carl Turner and Victoria Lemley.

He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Hutchinson (John) of La Porte, IN, Calla Arnholtz (Eric) of Union Mills, IN, Mima Jean Eddy (John) of Kingsford Heights, IN, Clay Turner (Dawn) of New Carlisle, IN and Darial Turner of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in Dale's honor to the South Center United Baptist Church, 2507 US-6, Hamlet, IN 46532.
