Clifford Wolff Obituary
Clifford Eugene "Wolffie" Wolff, age 61, of La Porte, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014 at St. Anthony's Medical Center in Michigan City. Clifford was born in North Liberty, IN, on March 3, 1953 to Clifford E. and Thelma Viola (Singleton) Wolff. On March 17, 1992, he married Donna Thatcher who survives. Also surviving are his beloved children, Christopher (Lori) Wolff, Monica Wolff-Gerhart, Laura Cunningham, and Anthony (Michelle) Gasaway Sr.; 12 grandchildren, Destinee, Harley, Emma, Brittanie, Tyler, Anthony Jr., Charles, Austin, Shyann, Petie, and Shawn; 1 great-grandson, Hayden; 4 siblings, Lewis Hostetler, Lois (Jack) Lovitt, Linda Perry, and Carol Scott-Lake; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Louetta Blakely, Lonnie Hostetler, Leon Hostetler; and a sister-in-law, Judith Hostetler. Clifford served his country honorably in the United States Army at a very young age. He later worked at Angelo Bernacchi Greenhouses and Teledyne Casting for 19 years. He currently worked as a landscaper at H&S Services for his dear friends, Rob and Angie Hugley and their sons.
Clifford was a jack of all trades that could fix anything except his own car. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday November 11, 2014 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center at 4PM. Pastor James Bouslog will officiate. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 PM prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
