She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Scheidel and Mary Scheidel (Dycusien); and her sisters, Donna of Indiana and Christina (Phil Hollingsworth) of Florida. She is survived by: her spouse Sherri Alonso of La Porte; her stepfather Ron May of Marshall, MI; and her siblings, Don Paul Scheidel (Kelly) and Mary Nance of Bellevue, MI. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a tree be planted in her honor.
