He was predeceased by: his father Charles. He is survived by: his sons, Shawn Schwark (Nicole) of LaPorte and Scott Schwark of LaPorte; his grandchildren, Cael, Lauren, Hayden, Rylan, Presley and Ellie; and his sister Sherri Brugh.
In his memory, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
