It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Hughes of La Porte, Indiana, born in Cleveland, Tennessee, who passed away on April 1, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hughes and Florence Hughes (Whitner); his wife Margaret A Hughes; his daughter Sue A. Brown (Kurt) of La Porte, IN; his siblings, Herman Hughes (Lila) and Juanita Glenn (Bill) of Kingsford Heights, IN; his sister-in-law Clara Hughes of Union Mills, IN; his grandson Garrett Uhlemann (Jodi); his great grandchild Austin Uhlemann; his son Charles Michael Hughes; and his siblings, J. C., Frankie Hughes, Louise Wheaton, Mary Sue Chapman and Virginia Lane.
Anyone attending these events will be required to wear masks and practice social distancing.
