She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Hal and Elva Irene Younggreen (Headley); her husband Grover Cleveland Powers; her brother Hal Younggreen; and her son-in-law Dave Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Calkins (Terry) of La Porte, Gerald Schweizer of Largo, FL, Robin Schweizer of Wanatah, Patricia Nelson of La Porte and Stanley Powers of Delhi, NY; her grandchildren, Christopher Calkins, Kayla Calkins, Jeff Schweizer, Jerrilynn Wade, Tobby Schweizer, Brandon Schweizer, Michael Nelson, Tim Powers, Stephen Powers, Joseph Powers, Benjamin Powers and Joshua Powers; her great grandchildren, Lexy Wade, Kourtney Meary, Pipar Wade, Tatum Wade, Harper Wade, Kyle Schweizer, Natalie Schweizer, Katie Schweizer, Dani Schweizer, Everly Calkins, Noah Powers, Jaden Powers, Taylor Schweizer, Colton Schweizer, Roman Schweizer, Preston Schweizer and Deacon Schweizer; and her great great grandchild Maverick Meary. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the recent La Porte County Order, anyone attending the visitation and/or service is required to wear a mask.
