He was predeceased by: his father Carl W. Johnson; his stepfather Wilfred "Bud" Eldridge; and his stepson Christopher Pieschala. He is survived by: his mother Doris Eldridge (Johnson); his daughter Heidi Chalik (Andrew) of La Porte; his grandchildren, Travis and Victoria Chalik of La Porte; and his sisters, Judy Blair of Dayton, OH and Stacy Parker (Carson) of Michigan City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the recent Governor's Order, anyone attending the visitation and/or service is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing of six feet.
