She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Purgin and Sarah Purgin (Cleaver); her foster parents, Luther Price and Mae Price; her husband James Walker Morris; her son Stanley Delane Morris; and her siblings, Gaynelle Pinkerton (Elmer), Faye Howard (Shelby) and Stanley Price.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Wayne Morris (Denise) of Reno, NV and Belinda Schnick (Marshall) of La Porte; her grandchildren, Shane Hale (Kandi), Jeff Morris (Christine), Matt Schnick (Alissa), Craig Schnick (Jessica), Meredith Torrence (Steven) and Amy Hallet (Nate); and her close friend Betty Bailey.
