She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert; and her siblings, James Russell, Paul Russell, Tennyson Turner and Rosalee Jacobs.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Verlinde (Roy) of Farmington Hills and George Scherer (Cathie) of Rolling Prairie; her grandchildren, Jason Verlinde (Linda), Sara Bennett (James) and Jacob Scherer (Rayna); her great grandchildren, Jasmine, Colin, Lillian, Christopher, Elizabeth, Victoria and Anthony; and her brother Franklin Turner (Harlene) of Brighton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
