With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara Meeks of La Porte, Indiana, born in Morgantown, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elden Coburn and May Coburn (Savage); her husband Harry Wilson Meeks, Sr.; her children, Christopher, Michael Meeks and Sandy Butler; her son-in-law Raymond Metheny, Jr.; and her brothers, Robert, Rick and Ronald Coburn.
She is survived by: her children, Belinda Metheny of La Porte, Harry Meeks, Jr. of La Porte, Cindy Coffman (Jeff) of La Porte, Jeff Meeks of La Porte and Nathan Meeks (Anna) of La Porte; her son-in-law Carney Butler of La Porte; and her siblings, Chuck Coburn and Jean Flinchum. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great, great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
