He was predeceased by: his wife Janice "Renae" Goodson; his daughter Sandra Elaine Goodson; his grandson Dustin Salas; and his parents, Virron Goodson and Ethel Grandorf.
He is survived by: his daughters, Regina Salas (Juan) of Santa Fe, Debra Goodson (Ellen) of Texas City and Amber Goodson (Vince) of Santa Fe; his grandchildren, Jennifer Martin (Steven) of League City, Serrick Auzston of Santa Fe, Audrey Auzston of Santa Fe, Sydney Malfa of Santa Fe, Juan F. Salas (Sherrie) of Frisco and Angela Salas of Houston; his great grandchildren, Sadie Martin, Ashlynn Martin, Lee, Isabella and Elena Salas; and his sisters, Charlotte Ambers of Cookeville and Jennette Sullivan of Cookeville.
