We bid farewell to Alice Elizabeth Johnson of La Porte, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 1, 2025 at the age of 91. Alice Elizabeth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Black and Stella Black (Garrison); her husband Melvin Johnson; her sons, Bruce and Terry Johnson; her siblings, Jeanette Carey, Carl Black and Carol Black; and her pet Leo.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Corbett of Indianapolis, Cynthia Swanson (Brian) of La Porte and Keith Johnson (Judy) of La Porte; her grandchildren, Sheila Ryczek (Kevin), Byron Corbett and Kayla Johnson; and her great grandchild Ryczek.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center (2900 Monroe St, La Porte, IN 46350). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
