He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Kettring and Erma Kettring (Coconour); his wife Doris Mae Volstorf On; and his sisters, Jean Nawrocki and Ruth Burrus.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Kay Lowe (Daniel) of New Carlisle, IN, Diana Sue Stovall of La Porte, IN, Donna Jean Ziegler (Michael) of Woodburn, IN, Dale Alan Kettring (Judy) of Union Dale, IN and Darrel Lee Kettring (Kathi) of Three Oaks, MI; and his grandchildren, Kristy Lloyd (Titus), Nathanael Kettring (Julia), Bree Steffen (Todd), Aaron Stovall, Chad Ziegler (Diane), Derek Ziegler, Jacob Kettring (Amber), Eryka Kettring, Aimee Nguyen (Todd), Rachael Lowe and Wyatt Lowe (Sarah). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
