She was predeceased by: her parents, Omar Thompson and Jesse Lynn Thompson (Vanlandingham); her sons, Bradley Burgess and Terry Burgess; and her siblings, Charles Thompson, Carolyn Armstrong and Vickie Marine.
She is survived by: her husband Stephen Burgess of LaFontaine, Indiana; her son Todd Burgess (Denise) of Warsaw, Indiana; her sister Betty Crull of Wabash, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Cameron Ables and Kyleigh Nicole Burgess.
