He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Snyder and Marguerite Snyder (Engelman); his son-in-law Andrew Maxwell; and his siblings, Bill, Charlie Snyder, Wilma Dean Hacker and Barbara Boone.
He is survived by: his children, John "Mitch" Snyder (Michelle) of Wabash, Michael Snyder (Tiffany) of LaFontaine, Indiana, Heather Maxwell of Kouts and Leslie Snyder of Lakeside Park, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Jacob Snyder, Benjamin Snyder, Lauren Marguerite Maxwell, Samuel Maxwell, Brady Swain, Gracey Snyder, Charley Snyder and Mallory Snyder; and his pet Woody. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
