He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Gudeman and Mary A. Gudeman (Frank); and his brother Frank. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Schlatter; his children, Judith Gudeman of Kouts, Rebecca Moser of Kouts, Owen Gudeman (Nicole) of Kouts, Glen Gudeman (Kerri) of Kouts and Duane Gudeman (Jill) of Congerville, IL; his siblings, Bob Gudeman of DeMotte and Joyce Wenniger (Larry) of Ohio; and his sister-in-law Roberta Hicks-Gudeman of Oregon. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 1 great grandson.
