It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Ann Barnard of Kurtz, Indiana, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Kirts and Esther Mullins Kirts; her husband Marcus Barnard; and her siblings, Josephine Ruth, Barbara Kay Kirts, Clara Roll, Marvin Kirts, Gary Kirts and Wally Mullins.
She is survived by: her children, Melvin Barnard (Sonja), Marcia Hatton (Greg) and Vivian Begley (Dave); her sisters, Gail Wilson, Amy Price (Robert) and Joyce Luesby; and her grandchildren, Duane Barnard (Amber), Marcus Barnard (Amanda), Christopher Barnard, Jennifer Wilson (Shawn), Kellie Walters (Adam), Matthew Begley, Ryan Hatton (Jennifer), Tyler Hatton (Alyssa) and Bryce Hatton. She is also survived by several great grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters in laws; nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-29 pandemic, face masks are required in the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to St. Ambrose Catholic Church/School or Kurtz Nazarene Church.
