He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elisha "Pete" Carroll and Maggie Garlotte Carroll; and his sisters, Edith Edelman (William), Mildred Perry (Bill), Vivian Schuehle (Frank), Thelma Roberts (Mark) and Viola Cotrell.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen (Maxham); his daughters, Kerie Whitaker (Michael) and Kathy Grskovich (Brian); his grandchildren, Danielle Watters (Jonathan), Randi, Trevino, Thomas and Morgan; and his great grandchild Jensen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and numerous extended family.
