It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Henry Meyer of Kouts, Indiana, born in Dolton, Illinois, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Meyer and Julia Meyer (Steiner); and his sister Judy Hixson. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Stokes; his children, Nancy Newland (Tim), Thomas Meyer (Laura) and Jean Parks (Bill); his sisters, Mildred Compton and Lois Cook; his grandchildren, Matt, Stephanie, Kelli, Bradley and Katie; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Gwendolyn and Milo.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (507 S Rose Ave, Kouts, IN 46347). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
