It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Olive Haman of Kouts, Indiana, born in Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away on August 16, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Stowers and Mildred Stowers (Bussert); her brother Leon Stowers; her son Troy Haman; and her granddaughter Jennifer Snuffer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Thelma Sawyer (John) of Kouts and Cindy Gettemy (Chris Schmoyer) of Kouts; her daughter-in-law Pat Haman; her grandchildren, John Sawyer, Jr. (Melinda), Stephen Sawyer, Mathieu Price (Tanya), Ashley Rugg (Jeff) and Tyler Haman; her great grandchildren, Alex, Jodie, Alexa, Gena, Stephanie, Memphis and Dylan; and her pet Daisy.
