He was predeceased by: his father Olaf J. Hemdal; and his sister Elizabeth Migliore. He is survived by: his wife Carol Hemdal (Kehler); his children, David Hemdal (Heather) and Karla Hemdal; his grandchildren, Kevin, Joslyn, Kylie, Olaf, Jesse and Kendall; and his brother John Hemdal.
