She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ray Jamieson and Gladys Jamieson (Wylie); her husband Edward F. Garpow of North Judson; her children, Sharon Jackson of Valparaiso, Debora Butterfield of Valparaiso, Ben Garpow (Jackie) of Valparaiso, William Garpow (Michelle) of Valparaiso and Essie; and her sisters, Gladys Ellen Griffin, Anita Franz and Rachel Jamieson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the VNA of Northwest Indiana or St. Agnes Adult Day Center.
