He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Blacklidge and Ruth Blacklidge (Gilbranson); his children, David, Dale Jr., Daniel Blacklidge and Debra Blacklidge; and his siblings, Martin "Poke", Raymond Blacklidge, Audray Galloway and Marcella Lintner.
He is survived by: his wife Christine of Kouts; his daughter Ann Kulczyk; his stepchildren, Steve Kimmel (Cindy), Luann Burns (Dave), Janet Kimmel (Tom Sansone) and Darryl Kimmel (Sherry); his grandchildren, Tiffany Blacklidge, Ethan Blacklidge and Eric Blacklidge; and his daughters-in-law, Debbie Halderman and Alicia Blacklidge. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren.
