He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Eichelberger and Luella Eichelberger (Bechler); his wife Loretta Fritz; and his brothers, Ray and Glen Eichelberger.

He is survived by: his children, Susan Sutter (Don) and Gregory Eichelberger (Christine); his grandchildren, Jamie Sales (Ed), Kimberly Sutter, Benjamin Sutter (Patricia Martin) and Brandy Eichelberger; and his siblings, Ruby Walstra, Marvin Eichelberger (Linda) and Louie Eichelberger.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Kouts Christian Church.

“The Dale Eichelberger family is very dear to me. Dale worked with my grandfather Matt, my father Virgil, and then me. While the name on the trucks changed a few times Dale was always a faithful and loyal employee. We were members of Kouts Christian Church where Dale was a spiritual pillar and Elder. Greg and I were classmates and friends. Sue and I worked as Lifeguards together at the Kouts Pool the year it opened. Our thought and prayers are with you. Rest in Peace Dale. Vic & Sue Heinold”
