He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Neal Pumroy and Vera Pumroy (Dahl); and his grandson Michael Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Haman; his children, Scott Pumroy (JoAnn) of Sycamore, IL, Lisa DeFries (Doug) of Kouts and Dina Mueller of Kouts; his brother Fred Pumroy (Mary) of Fairborn, OH; his grandchildren, Krystina Bakaturski (Josh), Ryan Pumroy (Kerith Woodyard), Danielle DeFries, Dr. Nicole DeFries and Russell Mueller (Liz Ptacek); and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Addyson and Ellie Jo Bakaturski.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or the Kouts Memorial Scholarship (Pumroy Family), P.O. Box 699, Kouts, IN 46347.
