It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Virgil Dowden of Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Dowden and Lola Dowden. He is survived by: his wife Marybeth Branam; his children, Melissa Maroney (Tim), Marcia Dowden, Melinda Chesterson (Paul) and Mark Dowden (Rachel); and his grandchildren, Austin Maroney, Meghan Maroney, Amber Jester (Julian), Chase Johnson (Maggie), Bailey Johnson and Tim Chesterson (Ceres). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
