William Frederick Gilbert Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Frederick Gilbert of Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on July 26, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan Luther Gilbert and Dena Marie Ida Gilbert (Martin); his brother Morgan Gilbert; and his brother-in-law Leonard Creed. He is survived by: his grandson Ryan; his wife Nancy Elaine Gilbert; his children, Julie Altizer (Daniel) and Michael Gilbert; his grandson Ethan Altizer; his sisters, Joanne Creed and Barbara Kieffer (Jim); his brother-in-law Dr. Richard Zeiger; his nephew John Creed (Cindy); and his nieces, Dena Myers (Win), Cindy Gilbert, Beth Smejkal (Rob), Becky Pope (Eric) and Barbi Basten (Bryan).

Memorial donations may be made to the Kokomo Rescue Mission which is an organization near to Bill's heart.
