It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vonda Mae Rigel of Kokomo, Indiana, born in Arthur, Nebraska, who passed away on July 10, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Lightbody and Enona Lightbody (Johansen); her husband John William Rigel Sr.; and her brothers, Lynn Lightbody, Lyle Lightbody and Theodore Max Lightbody.
She is survived by: her children, John William Rigel Jr. (Anita), Jana Lynn Peterson (Robert) and JoDee Rigel; her grandchildren, Michelle McCune, Amy Rodas, Jennifer De La Cruz, Matthew Noonan and Brad Rigel; her great grandchildren, Tinsley McCune, Mikaylyn McCune, Eliana Rodas, Adelina Rodas, Micah Rodas, Eden Rodas, Trey Rigel, Trent Rigel, Greyson De La Cruz, Easton De La Cruz, Ella Noonan and Brady Noonan; and her sister-in-law Phyllis McClain. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
