He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin E. Holaday and Ellen Holaday (Grant). He is survived by: his wife Wanda S. Carter (Carter); his sons, S. Kent (Denise) and Matt (Shelley); his grandchildren, Emma, Jesse and Carter; his brother Marvin Holaday, Jr. (Colleen); and his sister-in-law Stella "Lou" Fain. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
