She was predeceased by: her parents, Camiel Vehaeghe and Martha Vehaeghe (DeBlauwe); her former husband James Kevin Smith; her husband Joseph Brochu; her children, Patricia Marie Smith, James Bernard Smith and William Vincent Smith; and her grandson Jeff McDaniel.
She is survived by: her family, Michael Smith, Mary McCartney (Aaron Richardson) and Laura Nocera (Joseph); her grandchildren, Angie McDaniel, Steve Smith (Mandy), Christan Smith, Jesse McCartney (Vinessa Hale), Joey McCartney (Angie), Sophia Richardson, Molly Nocera and Nicholas Nocera; her great grandchildren, Lyla Day, Abby McDaniel, Delainey Smith, Jocelyn Smith, Zach Smith, Hagen Smith, Alohnna Hale, Athena Hale, Brenden McCarthy, Kaylee Temple, Cameron Gillem and Kelsey Gillem; her great great grandchild Ariyah Day; and her daughter-in-law Cathy.
