Sharon Ann Franklin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Ann Franklin (Kokomo, Indiana), born in Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on September 20, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Penn Moulder, Sr. and Cynthia I. Hobbs; her husbands, Allen B. Rayl and Benjamin W. Franklin; her brother Thomas Penn Moulder, Jr.; her stepdaughters, Karen Engel and Benille Appelgreen; and her brother-in-law James Neave.
She is survived by: her children, Eleanor Rayl of Bonita Springs, FL, Allen B. Rayl, Jr. of Waterford, MI and Elizabeth "Libby" Riesen (Christopher) of Estero, FL; her stepchildren, Karmen Hayes and Benjamin Franklin (Nancy); and her sister Sara "Sally" Neave (Moulder) of South Africa. She is also survived by two nieces and one nephew, and their children, several cousins and six (Rayl) nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, in Sharon's honor.
