It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth V. Baker of Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Lawson and Etta Mae Lawson (Rutherford); her husband William H. Baker; her grandson Joseph Carlile; and her siblings, Madeline Capps, Novella Disney, Martha Spalding, Brenda Breedon, Cletus, George and Leon Lawson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Moore (Don), Phyllis McKay, Patricia Guge and Lisa Carlile (Paul); her grandchildren, Melody Berry, Kim Purtee, Cassie Dodson, Carrie Poe, Michele Martin, Shannon Goad, Christina Anderson, Nathan Carlile and Aaron Carlile; and her sister Gladys Spivey. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, many great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hasler & Stout Funeral Home in Ruth's memory to assist the family with final expenses.
